I got lost at DFW International Airport when I was 6 years old.
My father and I were there to pick up a family member, and I decided to stop at a water fountain…without telling my dad.
When I looked up, he was gone.
After the initial panic, I remembered what my parents taught me to do when I got stuck: look for someone with authority and see if they can help.
So, I found a gate agent, asked for help, they paged my dad and we went on our way.
What does this have to do with your business?
Consider this: your potential clients are out there, stuck in some problem that YOU have the ability to fix.
But what they are *really* looking for is not just the solution itself.
They are looking for an authority they can trust to help them apply it.
If you want to win more clients and customers, don’t just focus on creating the best solution.
Show your prospects YOU are the “authority figure” they’ve been searching for, the one they can trust to lead them to their better future.
When you do that, you won’t just be making more sales.
You’ll be changing more lives for the better.
