God can turn your failure into fruitfulness

Scripture Notes on Psalm 107

He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water. And there He lets the hungry dwell, and they establish a city to live in; they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful yield. (Psalm 107:35-37)

Not much grows in the desert, but God can change that.

The desert is often a symbol of death, but God can change that.

The desert can be seen as a wasteland, a dry place, a symbol of failure and uselessness… But God can change that.

God can turn wastelands into wonderful things. He can change something useless into something useful for His glory. He can take the thing in your life that you’re most ashamed of and turn it into the most awesome story of His redemption, if you’ll trust Him.

Don’t let what was keep you from seeing what is, and don’t let what is steal your hope for what can be. God is a redeemer, and if you trust Him and follow where He leads, watch how He will work in the broken places of your life.

You see, God can turn your failure into fruitfulness.
