Delight and Desire

What are your deepest desires?

Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him…” -Psalm 37:4-7a

As we delight ourselves in God, we find that our greatest desire becomes Christ. Christ is, indeed, our righteousness, and He will be “brought forth” in our life as we abide in Him, waiting patiently for the promised deliverance of God from the myriad mazes of the circumstances in which we find ourselves.
