Jesus is your triumph

God’s Hope For Your Heart from 2 Corinthians 2

JESUS IS YOUR TRIUMPH

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of Him everywhere.  (2 Corinthians 2:14)

“Triumphal procession.”  Think about that image for a moment…

You were not designed to walk around with your head down in defeat, but to stand tall in Christ.

You were not saved so you could spend your life struggling to get by, but so you could be an example of God’s grace to His children.

When you are following Christ, it’s not a procession to a funeral, but a parade for the faithful, marching ever onward to victory for the glory of God.

You see, because God is glorified by how He cares for His people, you can rejoice in this hopeful truth: Jesus is your triumph!
