Jesus’ presence is your power

God’s Hope for Your Heart from Matthew 28

JESUS’ PRESENCE IS YOUR POWER

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18-20)

Do you ever feel like what Jesus asks of you is too hard?

Maybe there’s a calling to which you feel drawn, but you don’t feel qualified.  Maybe there’s a life change you feel compelled to make, but you don’t feel strong enough.  Maybe there’s a ministry opportunity you feel He wants you to take, but you’re not sure you have what it takes for success.

If you’ve ever felt that way, here’s good news: you DO have exactly what it takes… Jesus!

If you’re in Christ, then you can be assured of this.  He has not only given you natural gifts and abilities to prepare you for His calling, but He has promised you the one thing that matters more than anything else.

Jesus has promised you the one thing that can overshadow any doubt, overpower any fear, and overcome any obstacle you may face as you follow His call.  What is this one thing?

It’s His presence.

Don’t be afraid to pursue what you know God is commanding you to do, and don’t let anything keep you from discovering the hope that comes through this truth: Jesus’ presence is your power.
