Jesus is Your Sufficiency

God’s Hope for Your Heart from 2 Corinthians 3

JESUS IS YOUR SUFFICIENCY

Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God.  Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant…  (2 Corinthians 3:4-6a)

On your own, you are not good enough, but in Christ you are more than qualified.

By yourself, you don’t have what it takes, but in Christ you are abundantly supplied.

Without Jesus, you might as well quit, give up, go home and not bother trying.  But, with Jesus…what are you waiting for?

You can do this!  You are ready!  You are able!

If you’re in Christ, you can have confidence that nothing can stop your success for the Kingdom.  As you meditate on that confidence, may you be filled with the hope of this truth: Jesus is your sufficiency.
