God loves to help the hopeless

Scripture Notes on Psalm 113

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with princes, with the princes of His people.
He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children.  Praise the Lord!

(Psalm 113:7-9)

Hopelessness is a terrible thing.

It’s that state of mind where it’s not just that you don’t have what you think you need, but you’ve even forgotten how to dream for it.

It’s that place where you no longer have the will to struggle, to fight back against a dark situation.

That’s when God steps in.

In your hour of hopelessness and lack, God loves to burst in with hope and provision. When you feel the world is against you, Jesus wants to say to you, “Take heart, I have overcome the world!”

When your situation looks unresolvable and your pain seems unredeemable, find hope in this truth and let it carry you forward in Christ.

God loves to help the hopeless.
