It is not your good performance that saves you, but God’s great mercy. It is not a dry duty or set of ideals to which He saved you, but a hope and a future that is brilliant and bright and glowing with glory.
It is not only for peace in this life that God saved you, but for an eternal reward that will far outshine even the most magnificent treasures of Earth, and that’s not even the best news of all.
The best news is that it’s a reward that rests on His grace alone, so it can never be taken from you!
