God has a greater treasure for you

God’s Hope for Your Heart from Psalm 32

GOD HAS A GREATER TREASURE FOR YOU

Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord.  (Psalm 32:10)

How often do we hear the story of the celebrity or millionaire who has everything the world says we need to be happy, and is completely miserable?

How often do we hear of the the sports star or rock star or all-star actor who self-destructs at the height of their career because they lived only for themselves?

You may wish for more money or fame, thinking those things will make you happy, but if you’re a child of God, you have already been promised a more precious treasure than all the glitter the world can give.

The love of God.

May you trust in the Lord in whatever situation comes your way, and may your heart be filled with hope as you rest in this truth: God has a greater treasure for you.
