Service TO God does not automatically mean
relationship WITH Him.

The test of a true Christian is not the morality of their actions, but the focus of their heart.
However, the test of a heart’s focus is always the action it produces.
PRAYER: God responds not to arrogant, presumptuous demands,
but to humble, repentant petitions.

A crimson thread is running through
The things I’ve done, the things I’ll do.
It binds me to the risen Lord;
His saving blood,the scarlet cord.
KINGDOM vision says, “I don’t care where you go on Sunday morning, but how well you love & serve the rest of the week.”
Underneath all our traditions
& methods
& sound systems
& websites
& videos,
if it doesn’t SERVE people for the glory of GOD,
it means nothing.
Disappointment is often God’s way of telling us
we should be doing something else.
One of the beauties of prayer is that
whether giving or receiving,
you know you’re not alone.
If read only with the mind,
the Bible becomes a book of duty.
If read also with the heart,
it can be a book of desire.
The greatest benefit of college
isn’t the degree you get, but rather,
the degree to which you change in the process.
Hope without an anchor
is just wishful thinking.
