Christians often talk about having “fruit” in our lives, but how do you get it?
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.” -Romans 6:22
“The fruit you get.” Notice Paul doesn’t say the fruit you want or the fruit you work for or even the fruit you have. He says the fruit you get.
You don’t have it all right now, but stay connected to the source and the fruit will come.
You don’t need to pour in all kinds of effort to produce the fruit, simply stay connected to the source and the fruit will come.
You don’t need to dream and desire and worry about it, just stay connected to the source and the fruit will come.
If you’re a fruit tree, fruit is just what you get.
Now that’s good news. Have you experienced this before?
